BCGA have published a Coronavirus briefing document for members. The latest version can be found here, along with guidance on closing certain businesses and venues in England (which allows reasonable access and includes preparation for reopening). The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are carrying out spot inspections to ensure workplaces are COVID-19 secure.
Alok Sharma, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) issued a letter thanking the manufacturing sector for their efforts during the Coronavirus pandemic. The letter can be read in full here.

The Welsh Government have also recognised the importance of the work of BCGA members. A letter from the Minister for Economy, Transport and North Wales can be read in full here.
“Those businesses which you represent as the British Compressed Gas Association have not been asked to close by the Welsh Government and therefore are allowed to operate through the Firebreak period under standard COVID restrictions.”

Be aware that criminals are using the pandemic as an opportunity for fraud and for accessing both personal and workplace data. Ensure you have adequate fraud and cyber security preventative measures in place.
