Industrial gas cylinder manifolds and gas distribution pipework (excluding acetylene). Revision 4: 2012
Provides the minimum safety standards for the design, construction, installation, operation, examination and maintenance of industrial gas supply manifolds, and associated distribution pipework up to 54 mm nominal bore. The manifold pressure is up to 300 bar, while the distribution pressure is limited to 50 bar.
The design and construction of manifolds using acetylene gas from 1.5 to 25 bar. Revision 3: 2016
Covers the design and construction of acetylene gas manifolds, working at pressures from 1.5 bar up to 25 bar, to which single or multiple cylinders can be connected. The statutory requirements in such systems are detailed.
The safe distribution of acetylene in the pressure range 0 - 1.5 bar. Revision 3: 2015
Gives guidance on the safe distribution of acetylene at pressures between 0-1.5 bar. Both fixed and mobile systems are included, as are the statutory requirements.
The safe use of oxy-fuel gas equipment (individual portable or mobile cylinder supply). Revision 8 2018.
Provides the minimum safety standards required for the assembly, examination, inspection, maintenance and use of individual portable or mobile cylinder oxy-fuel gas equipment, each gas being supplied from a cylinder and individually controlled by a cylinder-mounted pressure regulator.

The movement on public roads of storage tanks, as well as other gaseous equipment, designed for use in a static location. This code does not apply to tanks designed to comply with the road transport Regulations.
The safe storage, handling and use of special gases. Revision 3: 2014
Provides technical and safety guidelines and principles for the safe storage and handling of special gases in transportable containers up to the point where product is provided at the required pressure and flow at the junction with the user process.Guidelines on disposal are also given.The safe operation of processes is not included, although many of the principles given in this Code will apply.

The design and operation of cylinder and tube trailers (battery vehicles) and multiple-element gas containers for the safe transport of compressed gases by road. Revision 2: 2013
Provides practical guidance on the design, construction, examination, testing and certification, and the filling/discharging of cylinder vehicle/trailers used for the domestic conveyance of compressed, but not liquefiable gases.
The safe use of liquid nitrogen dewars up to 50 litres. Revision 2: 2013
Specifically addresses the use of liquid nitrogen in open dewars and dewars fitted with liquid withdrawal attachments operating at less than 0.5 bar. Covers the storage, filling, use and maintenance of dewars of not more than 50 litres capacity. A Model Risk Assessment is available in support of this Code of Practice to assist in providing a structured approach when evaluating workplace hazards. See BCGA TIS 27.

This Code of Practice addresses the safety, quality and operational issues necessary for the filling of beverage gas cylinders. The document covers safe filling practices, cylinder identification, handling, corrosion prevention and product quality.
The bulk storage of gaseous hydrogen at users' premises. Revision 1: 2012
Code of Practice CP33 covers the location, design, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of equipment for the bulk storage and supply of compressed hydrogen gas at users premises. Reference is made to relevant legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards and summarises the hazards and properties of compressed hydrogen. Compliance with the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations will require risk assessments to be carried out, which may include a formal HAZOP, during the process of installation of bulk hydrogen systems.
The application of the Pressure Equipment Regulations to customer sites. Revision 1: 2014
Provides interpretation of the UK Pressure Equipment Regulations (SI 1999 No. 2001) in terms of their application to pressure systems installed at users' premises. Issues arising from the re-use of existing equipment in otherwise new installations are covered in detail.
Filling ratios and developed pressures for liquefied and compressed gases. Revision 2: 2017
This Code of Practice gives data about the filling ratios applicable when filling gas cylinders with liquefiable gases for transport within the United Kingdom. It does not apply to any international transport - in this case the requirements of ADR will apply. It can therefore only be used with non pi-marked cylinders. Information is also given on the developed pressures in cylinders of compressed gas exposed to UK and other area climatic conditions. In some cylinder design codes the developed pressure is an important element in the establishment of the correct design criteria. Cylinders being exported from the UK may also need to be checked for safety according to the climatic conditions they may be exposed to.

In-service requirements for refrigerated gas transportable pressure equipment. Revision 1: 2018
Provides guidance on the management of in-service refrigerated gas transportable pressure equipment to ensure that it is serviceable for the safe transportation of gases without unintended release during the complete journey. The equipment covered includes road tankers, tank containers and other tanks used for the operation of special equipment used during transport, such as cooling equipment.
In-service requirements of pressure equipment (gas storage and gas distribution systems). Revision 2: 2017
Pressure systems require regular examination and maintenance to ensure the continuing integrity of the equipment and the safety of personnel. This code covers the principles and a risk based methodology to meet these requirements. It provides guidance on Written Schemes of Examination, Ageing Pressure Equipment Assessments and Revalidation of pressure vessels.
